Appraisals are priced according to difficulty and liability. To avoid having to custom-price each one I do it by the value estimated by the customer, the Just Value reported in Public Record accessed through MLS, or basic research done by me. Appraisal fees are collected at the time of inspection or before.
Single Family, Condo, Single-family lot (no mobile/manufactured homes or commercial property)
Court Appearance, Testimony including Depositions, Extra Research/Studies/Consulting/Copying, $200/hour ($200 minimum). A $600 retainer is necessary no later than one week before services are provided.
